1.Westworld

The story revolves around a futuristic theme park staffed by robots that can help guests live out their fantasies. The park breaks down, however, and two guests taking a Wild West adventure find themselves stalked by a gun-slinging android.

Westworld isn't your typical amusement park. Intended for rich vacationers, the futuristic park allows its visitors to live out their most primal fantasies with the robotic "hosts." However, the robotic hosts have evolved an artificial consciousness that is similar to, yet diverges from, human consciousness. No matter how illicit the fantasy may be, there are no consequences for the park's guests, allowing for any wish to be indulged; but there is a price to be paid.

3.Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency

Although bellhop Todd Brotzman doesn't have a lot going on in his life, the worst awaits him. It begins when he arrives at work one day and is sent up to the hotel's penthouse, where he discovers millionaire Patrick Spring has been murdered. An odd chain of events that unfolds leads to Todd becoming a person of interest in the crime and losing his job. That is when he meets Dirk Gently, a fast-talking, eccentric detective who has been hired to investigate the murder. He believes that he and Todd are destined to solve the mystery together. Once Dirk is able to convince Todd to work with him, the latter is visited by wild, dangerous characters -- all associated with Dirk -- who complicate his life further. Dirk, meanwhile, is being hunted by seemingly deranged assassin Bart, who almost kills a man she mistakenly believes to be the detective.

8.People of Earth

An ensemble comedy about an alien abductee support group revolves around a journalist's investigation of the members' supposed extraterrestrial experiences. As seasoned writer Ozzie Graham delves further into oddball claims made by members of StarCrossed, his initial skepticism begins to turn when he hears their stories firsthand and realizes he might have a story to tell, too. Though Ozzie struggles with the notion that life could exist beyond our world, StarCrossed leader Gina Morrison tries to get him to accept his possible otherworldly experience.

9.Timeless

A mysterious criminal steals a secret state-of-the-art time machine, intent on destroying America as we know it by changing the past. Our only hope is an unexpected team: a scientist, a soldier and a history professor, who must use the machine's prototype to travel back in time to critical events. While they must make every effort not to affect the past themselves, they must also stay one step ahead of this dangerous fugitive. Colony is a naturalistic drama about a family that's torn by opposing forces and makes difficult decisions as its members balance staying together with surviving the struggle of the human race. Set in the near future, the story takes place in Los Angeles, which exists in a state of occupation by a force of outside intruders. Some people choose to collaborate with the authorities and benefit from the new order, while others rebel and suffer the consequences.Will Bowman is a former FBI agent who - in a bid to protect his family - is forced to collaborate with the occupational government to bring down the growing resistance movement inside the L.A. colony. Katie Bowman is Will's wife and a mother of three who struggles daily to keep her family safe and united in an occupied Los Angeles.
